Startup Street Hockey |
Skate where the puck is going. Without skates and the puck is a ball. But you get the idea. Having fun. |

Action!
So here’s the idea. We thought we should be doing something “très Québécois” at SXSW. Turns out the street hockey was a great fit, culturally and physically relevant. So here’s the details: 1 PM Monday (March 12th) at the corner of 6th and Brushy. It’s a short 10 minute walk from the convention center. We brought the basic stuff (hockey sticks, balls) just bring your good spirit and your skills (or not!) it should be a lot of fun. We will play as long as we have people picking up sticks, probably for a few hours.
A big thanks to the Zaarly crew for finding us a backstreet next to their temporary Austin HQ!
This event is hacked together by Claude Théoret (Nexalogy) and Sylvain Carle (Montréal Intl Startup Festival). Come and say hi!

We will be playing most of the afternoon, as long as we have people willing to have fun (and we don’t get too exhausted for that, but we are trying to find some good local (from Montréal) beer at the Whole Food to chill on Zaarly’s porch after.
